46 This Year. Let’s Talk About It.

When I turned 45, I had one big intention.

Feel my feelings.

Sit with them.

Stop running from them.

Just be real with myself no matter what came up.

And darlin, I did that.

I dove deep into shadow work. I wanted to see if I could really face myself without flinching. I started calling out my own patterns with love instead of shame. I unpacked my past and started rewriting the script.

And yeah… remember EMDR?

I finally did that too.

I got diagnosed with CPTSD.

Then ADHD.

I got on medication for both.

I took my mental health seriously. No more suffering in silence. No more white-knuckling it through my days.

I also got my body right.

I went to physical therapy for my leg. I got all the surgeries I needed. I actually rested and healed through them. No rushing. No guilt. Just intentional recovery.

And somewhere in all that?

I fell back in love with fitness.

I started training again. I started to feel strong again.

So strong that I decided to become a certified personal trainer.

Not for the hype. Not for the trend.

But because I’ve lived this.

Because I know how powerful it is to finally feel at home in your body.

And I want to help other people do that too.

45 Was a Lot. And I Did It All.

Here’s the highlight reel:

  •  I faced my trauma and started healing

  •  I did shadow work and stopped running from my own reflection

  •  I started EMDR therapy and treated my CPTSD

  •  I got diagnosed with ADHD and started medication that actually helps

  •  I healed from surgeries, took rest seriously, and finished physical therapy

  •  I transformed my bedroom into a space of safety and love

  •  I adopted Sunny Bunny and let her sweet little self help me heal

  •  I got better at communicating with Chris through our Dale and Tucker moments

  •  I earned my NASM personal training certification

  •  I started building a career that feels real and aligned

  •  I got physically strong again

  •  I stopped waiting for someone to save me

  •  I became the version of me I was always meant to be

 46 Is About Expansion

For the last two years—44 and 45—I worked internally.

I focused on healing. On unlearning. On becoming.

Now it’s time to turn outward.

This is the year I level up my career.

This is the year I take up space.

This is the year I lead with purpose.

I’m asking myself, what do I want to do? Who do I want to be? What makes me shine? What makes me feel accomplished?

And I keep coming back to one truth.

I want to help people.

Help them get stronger. Help them believe in themselves. Help them feel proud of the life they’re creating.

So yeah. Happy birthday to me.

I earned this peace. I built this strength.

And I am just getting started.
